The Harper College Film and Theater Club promotes knowledge of film and theatre practices through various activities, events and projects for and by students. Through emulating the craft of the theatre and film professionally, we seek to involve the entire Harper College community in the study, practice, knowledge, immersion and enjoyment of all areas of film and theatre—performance and technical. In doing so, we strive to provide an outlet for personal growth, entertainment and education of our members.

The Film and Theater Club wishes to organize trips to local film and theater events. This year's club hopes to attend events such as a 70mm film screening at the Music Box, a tour of the Goodman Theater, and/or a live theatrical performance.

Why are donations necessary?
We are a new Harper College student organization, but we grew from 10 original members to 20 in a matter of weeks. We want to continue to grow, but a large club also means more expenses for outings. Donations help us to cultivate a passion for film and theater among a larger group of students.
