This holiday season, we would like to provide children in need not only with a toy, but with the knowledge that members of our community care. As the Business and Entrepreneurship Club at Harper, we wanted to use our skills to improve our community. We are raising funds to create 10,000 3D toys using Harper's MakerSpace. The MakerSpace has been expanding its usage of recycled material. This is one of the many projects the MakerSpace is involved in (https://www.harpercollege.edu/maker/calendar/3D-printed-toys-for-tots-2022.php ). Toys will be donated to Toys for Tots, a national organization with local campaigns in over 800 communities. They are dependent on local donations to support their mission of providing toys to needy children. We are also donating our 3D printed toys to local charities around Harper College.
